Karcher's recently refined company logo has a
considerably more modern font and now consists
of the brand name and the familiar yellow bar.
Following a restyling of the company's corporate
design and website early 2015, this logo change completes the new brand image.
"The design of our new logo reflects the characteristics of our brand, such
as innovation and quality. It conveys our promise of performance to our
customers," notes Hartmut Jenner, Karcher's chief executive officer and
management board chairman.
On the new Karcher logo, the corporate typeface FF Clan Pro replaces the
previously used Helvetica font. The lettering is significantly lighter and, most
importantly, it is easier to read on computer monitors.
The yellow bar under the lettering continues to establish the connection to the
company colour. The logo can be used with or without the 'makes a difference' claim.
The signet -- three triangles framed in a square -- is separated from the brand
name. This makes the now two-part logo less complex and more harmonious
overall, explains Karcher.
The separated signet has a new function: as a type of signature of the company
founder Alfred Karcher. As such, in future, it should feature as a seal for the quality
of the company's products.

Queensland regional Council.
